VICTIMS' RIGHTS & RESTORATIVE JUSTICE


Overview:
The Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections' (ADJC) Victims' Rights Unit exists to serve the victims of juveniles that are under the jurisdiction of ADJC.

ADJC believes in the philosophy of Restorative Justice. The goal of Restorative Justice is to repair the harm that has been done to the victim, the community, and the juvenile as a result of the crime.

Mission:
To preserve victims' rights, enhance juvenile accountability and promote safer communities.

Vision:
To promote a victim-centered response to crime.
