Youth Mentor Program
There is much we can offer our youth, families, and communities. One of the most
exciting and challenging opportunities for the Department has been to develop
partnerships with other agencies, community groups, and individuals in order to
provide a variety of programs and services for youth and their families in an
effort to prevent and reduce juvenile crime.
The Mentor Program is a way for you to roll up your sleeves and interact with
youth one-on-one, have a positive presence, link youth with your faith community
or social service group, and care-giving organizations.
Here is How!
• Complete the application material and a background questionnaire;
• Attend an orientation in your community;
• Be matched with same gender youth from your neighborhood.
